Minù Bijoux- Missione impossibile

    Missione impossibile nel senso che una volta visto un gioiello di Minù Bijoux,  non è assolutamente possibile non desiderare di saperne di più e incontrare l'artista che li ha creati.

   Il colpo di fulmine è accaduto alla Fiera di Minerali di Bologna di qualche mese fa, quando ho visto i gioielli che Simone Minonzio aveva realizzato per la mostra tematica sui quattro elementi.

 Abbiamo conosciuto quindi Simone che molto gentilmente ci ha spiegato che ha un negozio a Erba- Minu Bijoux-  e così io e Tina qualche giorno fa  ci siamo regalate un pomeriggio completo per andare in missione... e che missione!
    Anche la struttura del  negozio è molto particolare ed è un po come entrare in un mondo fatato .

Forse il messaggio è che la bellezza non ha limiti di tempo.
  Innanzitutto Simone è di una gentilezza assolutamente unica e speciale, "non se la tira" come spesso succede in tutti i settori , ed ama profondamente il suo lavoro che più che un lavoro è vera arte.

E così visto che Simone è stato disponibilissimo a rispondere alle nostre domande e a lasciarci fotografare a briglia sciolta , non ci siamo risparmiate!

Abbiamo scoperto  che le capacità di Simone non sono casuali, ma originano da lontano.

 Il papà di Simone è un creatore di sculture in minerali e metalli dalle quali è impossibile non vedere la grande passione per i minerali nel loro stato cristallino naturale.
Ecco qui a fianco alcune sculture del papà.

   Simone inizialmente voleva lavorare nel settore della moda e così si è laureato all'Istituto Europeo di Design del quale ha un bellissimo ricordo, ma passando il tempo, dalla moda è passato al mondo dei gioielli. Dalle sue creazioni però l'amore iniziale per la moda traspare inequivocabilmente se osserviamo la scelta accuratissima e originale dei materiali tra i quali i filati occupano un posto d'onore.

Filati speciali, diversi per trama e colori, mescolati, lavorati, soggiogati alla fantasia di Simone e abbinati a minerali molto spesso allo stato naturale . Eh si, perché Simone  ama profondamente il mondo dei minerali che conosce con grande mastria che gli consente di frequentare con competenza  le mostre di minerali alla ricerca di sempre nuovi cristalli bellissimi e rari.
Simone è un po come un mago Merlino e riesce a trasformare in oggetti preziosi e unici qualsiasi materiale la sua creatività gli suggerisca di utilizzare, talora anche materiali semplici e insoliti concorrono ad arricchire  un gioiello.

E non ci sono limiti temporali nei suoi gioielli. E' un po come ripercorrere la storia dei gioielli,
una sorta di "filogenesi", perchè spesso ci dimentichiamo che dall'inizio dei tempi uomini e donne hanno sempre desiderato adornarsi con gioielli, inizialmente di osso, legno, creta e poi con minerali e pietre. Ecco Simone è riuscito a cogliere questa essenza trasversale dei gioielli che attraversa tempi, luoghi, popoli.

Abbiamo conosciuto anche la nonna di Simone, una signora elegantissima, discreta, simpatica , che senza esitare ha posato come modella con il suo collier fatto di ostriche creato proprio per lei.

We have met Simone grandmother, an extremely smart, graceful and nice  lady,  who very proud of his nephew creations, didn't hesitate to become a model showing a very special necklace made with oysters.

E poi Mina, la cagnolina di Simone, educata e regale, orgogliosa di avere un padrone così speciale.

 And we have also met Mina, the little Simone dog, a very well mannered and regal creature, surely proud of having so a special owner.

 Abbiamo anche visitato  "l'antro" di Simone, il laboratorio dove lavora e dove abbiamo potuto vedere l'innumerevole quantità di materiali  e tecniche utilizzate. E così abbiamo visto la grande gentilezza di Simone con il quale si riesce immediatamente a stabilire un vero contatto. E abbiamo ricevuto suggerimenti, idee, storie.

E quando è entrata una cliente che indossava un gioiello di Simone, non si poteva non notare con quale gioia ed orgoglio lo indossavaAnd when entered in the shop a returning customer, we have noted how happy and proud she was to wear a Minu Bijoux necklace!We had also a "pass" for Simone 's cave,  the workroom where he works and where we could appreciate the numberless stuffs and technique he uses.
So that we have been able to appreciate all the great kindness with which Simone has given us explanations, suggestions and anwers to all our questions. 

    Nel negozio di Simone campeggia un ritratto di Tamara de Lempicka, la pittrice polacca  diventata famosa negli anni dell'Art Decò, forse non è un caso, perché Tamara amava essere unica e dichiarava:

"Tra migliaia di dipinti, potrete riconoscere i miei.
Il mio obiettivo è:
Non copiare- Creare un nuovo stile...colore luce luminosità"
Ma questo mi sembra anche il motto di Simone!

 The title meaning "Mission impossible" derives from the fact that once you have seen a Simone jewel, you cannot help to be eager to meet him and his creations.

My imagination was struck at Bologna Mineral show some months ago, when I saw the jewels Simone had created  for the thematic  show about the four elements.

We met Simone Minonzio and he told us that he runs a jewelry shop in Erba, so that some days ago I and my friend Tina have planned a total afternoon for our mission to go to Minu Bijoux, the shop of Simone, and what a wonderful mission!

   Before all the shop is very special and it is as  entering a fairy world. 

In the picture you can see Tina near a dress trimmed  with a very precious jais lace made in the Victorian period. Perhaps the message is that beauty doesn' have temporal limits.

Simone kindness is great and unique, he is not "too snob" as often happens in many fields and he is deeply in love with his work, which really is not a work but a true art.
And so considering that Simone has become so available in answering to our questions  and letting us freely grazing and photographing we didn't spare ourselves!
We have discovered that Simone' art is not causal, but has a long story.

Simone's father loved to create sculptures made with natural crystals minerals and metals .

At the beginning Simone would have aimed to work in fashion world, so that he had a degree in the European Design Institute, of which he has  very nice  memories, but soon he decided to shift to jewelry world. But this first love for fashion surely betrays from the very accurate and original choice of the stuff he uses among which spuns have a special place.
Rare spuns, different for types and colours, mixed, worked and subdued to Simone fantasy and often combined to minerals in their natural crystalline form. Yes because Simone is a great lover of mineral world who knows and have studied so well to attend mineral show and all the places where he can find new ideas for his work.

Simone is like Merlin the Wizard and he is able to transform in precious jewels, every stuff his creativity suggests to use and sometimes he uses very strange stuff.
Looking at his jewels you realizes he has no temporal limits. It is as travelling over and over again jewelry history, because we cannot forget that since the beginning of the world women and men have always longed for wearing jewels made with everything it was possible to use as bones, clay, stones etc.
That's all, Simone is able to show this trasversal essence of jewelry which runs among centuries, countries and different people.

In the center of the shop you can appreciate a painting of Tamara de Lempicka , the famous polish Art Decò painter. Perhaps it is not a chance because  Tamara liked telling of herself:

"Among a hundred paintings, you could recognize mine,

my goal was:

Do not copy. Create a new style, ...

  colors light and bright"

And it seems to me that Simone probably thinks the same!
